Aeneid

The Aeneid was written around 19 BC by the classical Roman poet Virgil (Publius Vergilius Maro). Another epic poem that tells of adventure and trouble that touches Troy, this story centers around Aeneas. It focuses on his journey from Troy to Italy and the war that ensues in which the Trojans are victorius.

This version of The Aeneid was translated by John Dryden, a 17th century poet and playwrite. The translation is out of copyright.
